This season's Jack Kerouac Memorial Game has a team of new words from the decade of the 1920s playing against a team of individuals who found their way into one or more of Kerouac's novels.

This memorial baseball game suggests that Kerouac was, for a time, for better or worse, a generation's 'catcher in the rye.'
