1996 Paradise Pisces
Born Adeline Virginia Stephen, the daughter of a wealthy intellectual, Virginia Woolf became an influential
author of experimental fiction. Exposed to some of the great creative minds of her times (Thomas Hardy, Robert Lewis Stevenson
and John Ruskin) she and her husband Leonard Woolf were principles in the Bloomsbury Group, a collective of avant-garde artists
who lived and worked in the Bloomsbury section of London. Woolf participated in the sexual avant-garde, and is an early 20th century
example of the literate bisexual. Woolf had relationships with other notables of the period such as Vita Sackville-West.
