Not Understanding

nobody understands the universe
not me at least
what about you?
I tried reading Ovid, de Sade & others
I tried to understand human love
I didn't think it would provide a key to the universe
I just thought it would ease the despair
of not knowing the universe
I calculated that love could substitute
for not understanding everything
