The Hollowgram

The inside empty
emptied out
years of her self-extraction
made it so
piece by piece
grain by grain
atom by atom
until the core
was barest of all
the abhorrent vacuum
remained never changed
couldn't
always the same empty.

From afar the empty shell
is peculiar to look at
dim and muddy
its colors dark
closer
inside
where there's nothing
it's quite quiet and stark
rather sad
the nothingness desperate
lightless
an empty hole
full of nothing
karma could want.
