The WASHINGTON PRESIDENTS were created in 1982. The team, made up of United States Chief Executives competes in the cosmic Overleague. Historically the Presidents are managed and coached by non-presidents and this year there have been several significant changes to the coaching staff. George Washington has replaced presidential contenders with wives and friends of the presidents. Perhaps this is a nod to the changing times and the increased fascination with our Presidents' personal lives. Reliable Ben Franklin remains the field manager. The General Manager is Monica Lewinsky who recently achieved some fame and notoriety with regard to her relationship with President William Jefferson Clinton. The new coaches are Ms. Ellen Arthur, Ms. Florence Harding and Ms. Edith Wilson, Woodrow's second wife..
