The 1997 Delta Dragons play in the Cosmic Middle League. The Dragons are one of the original CBA teams, created in Los Angeles in 1981. Representing musicians, the Dragons have consistently been one of CBA's worst performing teams. In fact, after competing for thirteen straight seasons and never compiling more than 84 wins in a season, the team was temporarily deactivated for the 1996 season.
This year's team includes several rookies, especially pitchers, which hopefully will turn the tide for this luckless group of tunesters. The Muse of Music, Euterpe, has taken over ownership of the team and she says she's committed to doing whatever it takes to make the team competitive and exciting.
