Eden Bohemians
Season 1996 Roster
The Eden Bohemians were commissioned into CBA's old Flat League in October, 1982 (Executive Bulletin No. 26). In their first season, the Bohemians, led by a powerful pitching staff that included Baudelaire, Rimbaud and Thackeray, won 84 games. Thackeray is the only reamining member of that first team. Jack Kerouac owned the team for the first season until he bought the Dharma Beats in 1983.Initially the Bohemians served as a supply team for the old Bhutan Vanguards. When the Vanguards were permanently decommissioned in 1990, the Bohemians became the senior team of literary illuminaries. Harriet Beecher Stowe is the current owner and Mark Twain is the field skipper.
