The Pranktown Busriders show no signs of letting up. Strong pitching by veteran Cathy Casano and solid hitting (Lambrecht and Bevirt smack back-to-back homers in the first inning) kept the Woodsox off-balance the entire game.

Woodsox starter Phil Ochs had a rocky outing but he pitched a complete game which is good news for manager John Lennon who needs his starters to be resilient. But the problem for the Woodsox is going to be offense. They don't have any power, they don't have any speed, they don't have any finesse at the plate or on the basepaths. They need more then interesting cultural ideas to compete effectively in the Middleleague this season.
